Soccer (indoor game) 24:00 [4]

Indoor game. We ended up loosing right near the end. After leading 2-1 for most of the game we switched goalies with about 5 minutes to go and they scored several quick goals to get the win. Oh well. At least it wasn't me in goal this time.

Had to go pickup some furniture so only had time for the four mile loop. Ankle felt better but I was still slow.

Soccer (goalie) 1:20:00 [3]
(injured)

Because of my bad ankle, I played goalie the whole game. For a change I actually did well in goalie and stopped a lot of real shots. Unfortunately the refs cost us the the game. After the other team scored a goal against themselves (oops) and we scored one as well we were up 2-0. Then they scored a goal on a 'dubious' offsides play which the ref didn't call. Near the end of the game they called a me for a foul saying I pushed a guy into the goal post. Other than it being a physical impossibility because of angle the player approached and where I was, and due to the fact that I never touched the player. They awarded a penalty kick to the guy who then scored. So instead of winning we tied. Stupid refs.

Orienteering (score O')10.2 km ( / km) +150m / km

Score O' at Mont Alto. I haven't been to Mont Alto in awhile so wanted to get out there. Ran at the same place as last time I was there. Score O. I took Marit Advice and decided to do them all in reverse order so all the climb came at once. Climb to the first control was 100m. 2nd control I was a little high and had to wander a bit. Next control was fine. One after that also good. Then I spazzeed. I dropped to low and missed the control. Of course I forget to bring my control descriptions and thought I was looking for a ditch when I was suppose to be looking pit. I hit the trail and bounced back to the wrong area again. Did a second time and this time I went up the trail to the bend and then into the control. Leaving the control was the beggining of the down hill and I was looking forward to running. Unfortunately, I stepped on a rock and twisted my ankle pretty bad. I had to walk most of the way to the next control and then ran easy the rest of the course favoring the ankle.
