Orienteering (Training Weekend) 39:14 [3] 1.85 mi (21:13 / mi)

Control Picking exercise. I skipped the first loop ( was so so tired from yesterdday) and waited at the control 4 so I could see how my team handled entering/leaving the control. It wasn't a good control to view as it was so green everyone was just trying to get to the control and not focuing on anything else. Also a steady stream of people so there was a lot of following.
After my last team member went through I ran the rest of the course. I apparently passed my team without seeing them so I didn't get a chance to follow them any.
I wore running shoes instead of O'shoes so was sliding all over out there.

Orienteering (Training Weekend) 31:05 [3] 2.35 mi (13:14 / mi)
shoes: Falcons 2018

One man relay. 4 loops. I wasn't fast, too tired. Fortunately it was in the areas close to the camp so generally a little more open. Still some green slash areas though. Saw wyatt as finished several loops. Finished just behind him overall.

Orienteering (Training Weekend) 45:51 [2] 1.27 mi (36:06 / mi)
shoes: Falcons 2018

Control pickup. I was only picking up 6 controls but boy was I tired. I took to long way to avoid going through the green.

Got some leg cramps when I tried to change my shoes.

Orienteering (Training Weekend) 2:00:46 [3] 5.53 mi (21:50 / mi)
shoes: Falcons 2018

Night O in the green. Not fun. Way to much unmapped green. In the dark you can't tell how deep the green is. It could be 2 feet thick or 200 meteres.
Both were true.
Walked that last part of the course as my legs were starting to cramp going through all the green. I would have quit if there was a convenient way to get to the finish. I did tough it out. It took me two hours. I spent some time looking for the mishung control.
