I had been reading about senior olympics and I was wondering what sort of times I could run on the track now. I don't normally run races. So I decided to jog up to the high school and run some laps for time.

My calf was feeling ok.

Ran hard to see what I could do for a 400.

My 200 split was 37.
400 split 78. After 200 m it was very hard to keep moving.
After finishing was breathing really hard. I haven't run that hard in a long time.

jogged slowly around the track to cool down.

decided to see what would happen if I ran another hard lap. Needless to say I was a lot slower.

Jogging home. I was very tired and moving slow. My calf started tightening up. I stopped and stretched some, ran some more, then had to stop and walk home.
