The other team didn't have enough to play so they grabbed a bunch of the better players from the previous game (i.e. they had a bunch of ringers).
The ringers did the most damage to us and scored most of their goals. I was still worried about my groin muscles so was trying to play easy. The result was I had a bad first half. I was beaten several times on defense. I had a few opportunities to score but because I didn't want to shoot with my injured left leg I tried to curve it with my right and shanked it.
The second half I stepped up my game and played much better. My injured leg held up so I was happy.
