Orienteering warm up/down 11:23 [2] 1.6 km (7:07 / km)

Run back in. Just following Eddie. I swear we went through some of the worst woods. I didn't even know the leg could be that bad. We went through rocky ground, ran along steep hill sides, cross 8 billion streams, ran through waist high grass.... Maybe It was just because I was tired since Eddie didn't have any problem with it.

Orienteering (sprint) 21:30 [3] 3.0 km (7:10 / km)

Orienteering 32:00 [3] 3.3 km (9:42 / km)

Vetting some legs. Made my course shorter. First few controls had to hang streamers for Eddie. At one control, I ran out streamers so just waited until he showed up. My course was shorted so I passed him again but he caught me on the final run in. I could have been him but I let him lead through the 5 foot high grass. Eddie was running hard then stepped into a giant hidden depression and fell hard. Eddie wasn't hurt fortunately but it was funny nonetheless.

Run (railroad tracks.) 16:45 [3] 2.09 mi (8:00 / mi)

Training with Eddie. It was a rock running simulation. Running down the railroad tracks, you could only step on the railroad ties. The RR ties are unevenly spaced which makes it hard to get even pace going. You have to keep adjusting your stride.
I told Eddie at the start, you can leave the tracks at the track junction (where the tracks join) or if a train comes. Well, we had to leave the tracks when a truck came down them. A service truck came down the tracks looking for damage from previous storms. There were some branches down the nothing blocking the tracks.
