Walking 57:29 intensity: (57:28 @1) + (1 @3) 3.55 mi (16:12 / mi)
ahr:90 max:110 weight:172lbs

It was actually nice enough to bike today, but the tires were low enough that I didn't want to go out on them. I couldn't find our pump, but I remembered the powered pump in the Mustang trunk. Unfortunately, the car battery is dead and the key doesn't open the trunk (I can't remember why), so I just went for a walk instead.

Orienteering 1:31:59 intensity: (28:12 @1) + (19:01 @2) + (19:15 @3) + (24:58 @4) + (33 @5) 5.02 mi (18:19 / mi) +155m 16:43 / mi
ahr:126 max:161 weight:173lbs

Was going to race the Webster Park course today, but the weather was so miserable, I decided to do the Durand East permanent course. Planned to clear the course, but after 16 of the 22 controls, enough water had gotten inside my screen protector that I couldn't get the map back up on the screen, which was a shame because I didn't save much distance by coming straight back. I'm tired of our lousy April weather this year!

Biking 49:38 intensity: (22:41 @1) + (23:11 @2) + (3:19 @3) + (27 @4) 9.57 mi (5:11 / mi) +35m 5:08 / mi
ahr:119 max:151 weight:172lbs

Slow ride with lots of excuses (yes I'm probably out of shape for biking) such as it seemed the wind kept being in my face and the tires were low with no standard pump to be found.

Hashing 43:10 intensity: (21:33 @1) + (5:34 @2) + (3:50 @3) + (6:39 @4) + (5:34 @5) 3.16 mi (13:40 / mi) +56m 12:57 / mi
ahr:125 max:161 weight:173lbs

FCH3 Ghost Trail set by SheeWee. Nice tour of Mt Hope cemetery. I think I was the second one on trail. It looked like VM may have gone early enough to spot the hare on trail.

Back to Durand Eastman, this time to do part of the western permanent course from the golf course parking lot. I continue to struggle with reading the map on my phone and gave up trying to estimate distances at all.

Orienteering 1:17:22 intensity: (42:47 @1) + (15:14 @2) + (11:33 @3) + (7:42 @4) + (6 @5) 3.64 mi (21:15 / mi) +118m 19:19 / mi
ahr:114 max:152 weight:173lbs

There is a new training course at Durand (thanks Rick & Linda!), so I went over there after work today. Sadly, my phone died on the way to C12 - I didn't know Durand could be a battery-sucking location like Webster Park, so I should have been in airplane mode. I knew the rough location of 12, but didn't spot it, then went to where I thought 13 was, but I think I needed to go farther north. I had not looked ahead to the last 2 controls, so I just ran in. I'll have to try again sometime.

Out for another neighborhood walk while Christine's lasagna cooked.
