Another day of moving around Webster Park during practice, with the kids doing a progressive long run of up to 75 minutes. I scouted some potential pieces of the upcoming CBH3 event on Monday.

First swim since 8/17 and I was slow, but not ridiculously slow which was surprising because they changed the schedule so I had to wait 25 minutes to swim after I got there and spent at least half of those minutes in the hot tub.

Boys race at Center Park. Our top guy ran well, finishing 7th behind 3 Fairport and 3 Irondequoit. Interesting race as both of those teams were willing to turn it into a 1-mile race, so there was a very large back most of the way through 2 miles. Irondequoit isn't deep, but each of their top 3 kids edged the corresponding Fairport runners for the win.

We lost to Spencerport, 22-35, so we have some work to do over the next 6 or 7 weeks.

Girls race. Not a bad performance - we lost to Fairport by more than I had hoped, but we did beat Irondequoit which was unexpected, and scored 15 against Spencerport thanks to the kick of an 8th grader.
