Wanted to keep the New Year streak going, but there was just no time. Got into work early, then drove to Canandaigua for Luke's hockey game (8-4 win and Luke +4 with 2 Gs and 2 As), then dinner at Jerimiah's on the way home, in time to catch the end of the Sabres game (once again they made it interesting but earned no points).

My exercise consisted of helping push a car out of the ditch on Scribner near Embury on the way home.

Left work a bit early to do my TSA Pre-check screening, so I couldn't run inside, so out into the 10 degree weather for the usual Christmas morning route. Walked 1.5 minutes after each mile (first walk was delayed to get off Center St).

Rode the Expresso in the Field House, which is not connected. This included Raven's Roost (thought it was an appropriate course after Sunday), and Bent or Broken Spoke (the 4 mile course).

Started with 150 pacer for a mile, was a ways ahead so I used 160 for 2, then 170 for 2, and 180 for last 2.
Second ride was with 190.

Knocked off the exercises during the Sabres game. Did all except the walking exercises, since I plan on running later.

Sabres lost another Winter Classic, exactly 10 years after the first, and this time it only took OT, not a shootout. At least they came back from down 2-0.

I couldn't finish my mandatory morning work before 9:30 in order to get to the Freezeroo race at Mendon, and the Y was only open 10-2, so I had to run outside in 14 degrees and dropping, with plenty of snow on the roads.

I stepped up the distance since I had to back off the intensity, and jogged a full mile at a time with 0.1 mile of walking after each.

Mile splits got slower because road conditions were tougher further along the route.
