Orienteering 34:05 [4] 3.25 mi (10:29 / mi)

ROC Trail Challenge at Webster Park

The good news is that I won the 5K course, the bad news is that Zach almost caught me while doing the 8K course. I caught a guy at the penultimate control and tried to balance pushing it in with remembering that I'm racing tomorrow...

Note
(rest day)

Caught Luke's first district playoff game (a nice win in Fairport) and then Chris brought pizza home, so I ate too much to swim right after...

Orienteering 1:05:00 [2] 2.5 mi (26:00 / mi)

Map Hike at Emery Park, north side.

Missed first control code because I was too busy thinking how it was misplaced. And now I've forgotten all of the others, since I waited until Saturday to post...

Orienteering race 44:30 [4] 4.0 mi (11:08 / mi)

CNYO Daddy-O at Dwyer Memorial Park in Preble

1:30,32,34,32,31
3:30,25

Started in the open swim lane as the other lanes were occupied, then moved to a regular lane. Fastest 500 in a long time - I like seeing the clock at Eastside after turning at the deep end, so I kept clicking off 49s and 50s. Also kept some good speed up on the 100s.
