Running 26:14 3.28 mi (8:00 / mi)
Ran from the Hockey Outlet in North Tonawanda, after dropping Zach off for his game. It was cold and the wind was brutal - more into the wind on the way out for 13:44, then came back in 12:30.
After Zach's game, we went straight to the Sabres game, arriving with about 5 minutes left in the first period (an unusual 6pm start time, coupled with the late start and long duration of Zach's game cost us). The highlight of the game was the Sabres finally rallying after blowing a 2-goal lead for the 3rd straight game. The lowlight of the game was the frightening and gory injury to Richard Zednik in the 3rd period - it absolutely silenced the arena. The game continued after an announcement that he was stable and on the way to the hospital, but there was still a pall over the arena.
