Day 1 Scottish 6 days - 4th
Sort of forgot how to orienteer (last time being JWOC) - ran out the start flag 180 degrees the wrong way... had trouble reading the map at the end as it was ripped in half through the last controls. Also made a shit two min mistake.

Running 20:00 [2] 3.0 km (6:40 / km)

Running 21:41 [2] 3.81 km (5:41 / km)

Pre brekky jog with Mark and Richard around the meadows. Edinburgh looking beaut this morning!

Note

Off to Edinburgh today and travelling to Inverness tomorrow. Camping for the whole of the 6 days this year so it should be interesting to see how my body copes with recovery because I normally never 100% good night sleep.

Feel in good shape though, got the earliest start going on the 1st day so just going to have to be quite aggressive and penetrate the terrain if I want to get a top result. Whole week should be great fun though and can't wait to support team GB!

Note: Woke up with some lovely DOMS in my arse this morning.

Running 45:12 [2] 8.22 km (5:30 / km) +207m 4:53 / km

Recovery run.
