Running 1:01:30 [3] 13.23 km (4:39 / km) +300m 4:11 / km

Steady run up around Birkrigg,through Seawood down to the beach - along to the priory, back to Bardsea followed by a Hilly loop back up to Birkrigg. Pushed quite hard in the last part of the run up the hills. Calves really tight today, should of worn shoes with some more support.

Cross training 51:23 [3] 19.32 km (2:40 / km) +255m 2:30 / km

Very Hilly cycle up to Kirby Moor. A really tough headwind and tired legs made some of the climbs an absolute mission. The downhill was very enjoyable on the way back home though.

Running 41:31 [2] 8.05 km (5:09 / km) +178m 4:39 / km

Hillyish/terrain run on Kirby Moor. The transition from cycling to running is a really weird one, when you've been working your quads hard on the bike, felt like I was running like an absolute spaz for the first 5 minutes; weird sensation of having really fresh calves compared to some super tired quads.

Note

Probably not gonna do a fell race on Sunday. Don't think legs will recover in time for 800m of climb.

Big ride with Euan to Ulpha, stopped and jumped off the bridge into the river,some mental chav did a running front flip off the bridge after us to put us in our place. Decided to come back via Askam to avoid the big climb. Legs tiring by the end. Loving these big rides at the moment, got some good climbs into day as well!

Was going to do Blisco Dash Fell race and then person giving me a lift pulled out, so was just lazy and did nothing. No harm since I should be taking it easy after JWOC I suppose. Another big ride on the cards tomorrow so should be fun :) Probs doing a fell race this weekend, stuck between either Coniston County fair or Kentmere.

Nice ride with the boys around coniston, nice easy pace. Felt pretty good on the hills.
