EYOC was a great experience and I'm really glad british orienteering sent out a full team this year, good to see all the 16's show promising results. Doing big international events like this are great fun and really inspire and motivate you in this sport, it will be good to see if a full team is sent to JEC this year! Felt like my preparation for EYOC this year was only about 70% due to the constraints of exams/A-levels. But to get a result like that in the long distance is really motivating to train harder! Found out Macedonia is actually an alright country on the last night, met a load of new people out there aswell which was fun, great banter with the boys as usual, peacocks fear us from now on!
