Running 45:00 [3] 10.0 km (4:30 / km)

Late evening run, found a lovely trail up to the castle, a decent 25/26 mins(4.9k) to reach the top and then 20 mins descending in the dark at sub 4 mink's a good test of ankle stability running with no light on loose rocky trails! Awesome fun!

Nice dip in the pool after.

Note

Been a mixture of rest days/ill/other occurrences stopping me training. In Portugal now will try get out and train.

Running hills 1:10:00 [3] 11.0 km (6:22 / km)

Lovely hilly run in Sintra-Cascais national park. Lots of trails and and paths to be explored over the next week. Topless running in October who would of thought.

Cross training 30:00 [3]

Instead of Hills tonight did a intervals session on bike of 1:45 x 7 with 1:00-1:45 recovery; trying to imitate what we were doing at striders. High gear, so not blowing to hard but more building leg strength.

Recovery Run, kept it short- plenty to be getting on with tonight and legs felt like sacks of potatoes so did shorter loop of birkrigg.
