Orienteering (UKRL relay final) 42:44 [4] 6.48 km (6:36 / km) +150m 5:55 / km

Relay Race,
Pretty standard race today, oing is becoming more consistent which is good to see and I'm not making major mistakes(starting with the positives first) lost some time being a bit low and high here and there. However I'm becoming a bit of a pussy atm and not pushing hard enough, caught owens up pretty soon and was running with through all the shitty reentrants(which you got to the top of and then slid down to the bottom) a bit hesitational through here in stead of going for it. got rid of owens by being a bit cleaner through the controls but after this was all alone and had nobody to race so speed went down quite a bit, only started to speed up when oleg caught me and i realised I wasn't really at race pace got going again and managed to get a bit of a lead on him when he went a bit wayward, but lost that lead when I was cautious over the barb wire fence(for obvious manly reasons)they could of put a crossing there. Not bad team result 6th,just behind 1st team, we finished 3rd in the overall standings :) looking good for LOC as we are getting better every year. Onwards and upwards.

Running 27:20 [2] 4.34 km (6:18 / km)

Extended cool down with Joe and Angus, Good bit of banter with them running up some peak moor, up to the monument pretty good veiws all around, sacked off doing the middle distance course because it would of been pretty similar and didn't want to fall down thousands of reentrants, so this sort of made up for it. Saw Murray Strain up there aswell, obviously the pro thing to do after a race.

Running 15:00 [3] 2.0 km (7:30 / km)

Warm up jog, drills and striding out.

Strength & Conditioning 1:00:00 [3]

GYM- usual stuff.
Not to hard as long run later tonight.

Running 1:07:11 [3] 12.21 km (5:30 / km)

BCR long,
...but without BCR, turned up, did a little loop no one showed up. but then Holly Orr showed up,who's living in the lakes now, so jogged with her and Richard for a bit and then me and Angus ran the race route in reverse with 3 hill efforts, met the rest of BCR half way around which were going around the other direction. Legs a bit heavy on last effort.

Cut it short as too dark too run back to Ulverston without head torches.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] 6.0 km (10:00 / km)

Black beck,
Not really in the mood for orienteering tonight, and 3 weeks of non stop rain doesn't help either. One mistake the rest relativley clean and good, In pairs today doing attackpoint relocation things. Area was ridicously wet and slippy. Looking foward to the weekend for some proper racing.

Running 45:23 [2] 8.36 km (5:26 / km)

Recovery run
Went with all the ulverston kiddies, adam was there so just jogged around with him,so much fun running through knee deep mud in the lanes, lashing it down throughout. Sped up a bit towards the end.

Strength & Conditioning 1:00:00 [3]

GYM session
Warm up on x trainer
Core,strength and stability.
Cool down on bike.

Running 24:01 [4] 5.28 km (4:33 / km)

BCR
4*4 minute intervals,with 2 minute recoveries roughly
Lead all of them, legs not tired as I thought had quite good speed, 10 to 20 second gaps between us so had people to catch. Not that hard today as the circuit around birkrigg we were doing was not that challenging.
3 59 3 49 3 25 3 52 , Circuits varied from hilly to falt/downhill hence mixed m per k times. Good session,not going all out though.

Running 20:32 [2] 3.62 km (5:40 / km)

Warm up and cool down.
