Note

Race called of, quite annoyed because did a lot of training for it this week and planned my weekend around also missed the X country race for Cumbria, so might not be able to go to nationals now. bit of a bummer really.

Pitch black, snow, and fog.... got lost running through fields but somehow found my way back, felt really good out there even if my shoes were slipping abit when i pushed off from the snow... fitness is fineee! quite tough running through snow but was fun! was gonna run with angus and richard this morning but didn't. a nice average pace because I couldn't see where I was going. felt aerobically good

easy, brought a map up with me did a few bearings, all good bit dark though without head torch. last run before race, gonna rest tomorrow, appraently will be snowing according to weather forecast over weekend, so I hope the race is still gonna be on...snow would make the race rather interesting though! :P

run with angus up hoad(which was tough at quite fast pace) then cruised around ulverston, nice run, chilly day.

hill reps really steep! 4 x average-hard 1x really hard , time includes recoveries , jog down hill

easy Birthday run in night got a nice bit of terrain in but was gonna do 16k long but decided not to because i listen to my body, a few small blisters from new shoes which isn't a good thing but guess thats because i'm not used to salomon type of shoe.

Running (recovery run) 30:33 [3] 6.28 km (4:52 / km) +155m 4:20 / km

birkrigg,beach,home. Running in new salomons nice and comfy and good grip a little bit heavier than Inov8's so a good training shoe me thinks, Inov8's are for racing and speedy jobbas. Gluteus maximus aching a lot from fell race(taking a lot of shock down hill) had this on a fell race at sedburg two years back, take a few days to shake off.

.....sorteddd, core is a bit weak...we'll soon sort that out with 3 of these a week
