Saunter up Loughrigg, body feeling rather tired today after yesterdays effort. Had a sheep following me up half the fell thinking i was his m8, nah m8 i'm not a sheep.

Nice solo ride around the lake, pushing it pretty hard the whole way and got my fastest time because of it. Still unfit af atm but pretty happy to average 30kph on a undulating loop.

Meadows miles, all that I had time for with a whistle stop tour of ed going to an eye app and then off to Ireland. Pace felt okay today apart from it felt hard running up the slight gradient back to flat lol. Think I'm recovering fairly quickly each day, still running is feeling a lot harder than it has done.

Thank fuck they didn't plan another score... Graham planned tonight and I was actually really impressed. Great middle type course on Guards Woods with a good variation of different legs, some tricky slope ones and finally someone knows how to plan a long leg with some routechoice, praise the lord!

As for myself i got caught out multiple times: ridiculously scrappy with one proper mistake as well as the 1st control punch being buried in a mountain of leaves so me and Chris H took a good 30 seconds before we dug it out. Good fun though, loc need to do more event like this.

Wow i'm unfit. Since Jukola/Harvester I unsurprisingly got a bit ill for some days before getting distracted with a few 21st's do's here and there, plus a visit down to London for some great days at Wimbledon, all have led to feeling like an overweight sloth. Hopefully with a week or two training I'll be back on the level i left Finland in.

Other note: Finland and Sweden went well, felt stronger everyday and put in a good effort on leg 3 for Halden 3rd team. Was surprised to see I was as high as 37th roughly 30 mins in before some silly mistakes, finished 82nd in the end which is alright considering my weak training. Great week with the lads though and rediscovered my love for finding some flags and dat.

Plan is to do a bit more training now before Oringen/S6D so i don't suffer too much out in the skog, come out side that a bit fitter and eventually be able to start building up mileage again in Sept. I'm just enjoying my summer atm though and doing normal people things like sinking yeast.
