Mashing it out on the seat with Mikey,Tim,Tam,Andy and Richard. Then one by one all the pussies dropped out until the two hardest lads were left me and Mikey! loops of playing fields,crags,top of seat for a naughty selfie, whinny hill, down through the woods,lap of the seat,back through the bog,meadows and home. Good route.

1st haries sesh, ran in the first group with Tim and Dan and another lad who dropped out halfway because I think he pulled his hammy. Went pretty well target pace was 1:55 set by the coach so smashed that pretty easy.Felt strong all the way and wasn't completely wasted by the end so think the mileage is paying off. Will join the haries and do some xc with them this year probs.

3 laps of the seat and back. Took a bit of effort to get through all the traffic lights but great when out on the seat. Few bellends trying to overtake me just before roundabouts seemed to be a common theme as well. Overtook some cyclist on my first lap of the seat and he thought he was a big man and would get in my wind break down the hill and along the flat showed him who was boss though when it got to the hills. Absolutley stunning sunset on the third lap, probably should of put some lights on my bike but just about got away with it. Left watch going at traffic lights.

Long run with Chris and Leutch in the Pentlands. Took a gel at 90mins and actually noticed a bit of a difference so put a effort in for the last hill.

Note

Had a bit of a cough all week which just occurred in the evenings weirdly. Seems to pretty much all cleared up now though :) Think it could of been related to my Asthma. Going to see the GP soon to get some more seretide(preventor) so hopefully don't pick up any chesty illness's over winter,which is normally the case when I get ill.

Easy around the seat. Forgot the last time I ate was at 7:30am this morning so discovered 10 minutes around that I was pretty dead. Legs felt good on flats and then pretty sluggish on the hills. Nearing the end of a hard week now and then will have some proper good recovery :)

Long run around Braids and Blackford led by Alex. Nice to explore a bit more of Edinburgh. Legs feeling yesterday but perking up a bit more towards the end. Tried a segment with Alex but realised halfway through it was never gonna happen hahah!

Hills on the seat with EUOC which then turned into a long run with Nixon,Chris,Sophie and Georgia. Nice evening and good fun!

SHI's relay.
Wan't too sure how i was going to feel today, so took my enhaler before I started as a precaution. Ended up feeling really good and that i could actually push hard today, was in the lead to the spectator before I threw it away a bit and the pack caught me and Chris up by about 20seconds, another small miss near the end by the whole pack put me back into about about 3rd and then a longer gaffle at the end meant I came in at the end of the pack in about 6th but still happy enough with that and the most important thing was that my body felt good again :) team ended up 5th good job by Will and Rich.

SHI's.
Legs felt good but chest felt really tight and weasy again maybe my recovery from illness got knocked back a bit after the euoc social on Thursday. So basically couldn't push as hard as I wanted to. Maybe it was just my asthma though... 3/4 silly mistakes though, biggest one on long leg when I actually punched an extra control. Maybe a bit dehydrated as well. All in all not a fantastic race. Will be interesting to see win splits. Lost some time on long leg as well deviating from line. Few smaller misses.

Long run with EUOC, nice chilled pace and then me & Nixon decided to go for a strava segment up some proper steep hill,absolutely on my arse by the top. He got me by 5 seconds, good bit of fun to mix up a long run!

Came back from highland wolf early, had a cold the last 3 days and felt shit at today's middle, chest feeling a bit sore after so thought It would be wise to get a train back to ed.

Orienteering 41:03 [3] 6.56 km (6:15 / km)

Highland Wolf Middle.
Body felt pretty wasted at like 5 minutes in and didn't feel like I could push at all, chest just not feeling right. Orienteering quite good with no major mistakes only like small 10 second misses. Compass still got a bubble in it so not trusting it completely. GG caught me right near the end and didn't get dropped by him and running actually felt quite easy because it wasn't in all the bilberry.
