Orienteering race 20:19 [4] 2.0 mi (10:09 / mi)

Fun sprint course with a mix of camp setting and forest. My worst orienteering mistake of the weekend to #3, as I was running up the reentrant instead of going further east. Hit trail off to the side and took a while to relocate. Probably lost 30-40 seconds.

So in summary, physically a bad weekend but really solid orienteering. I knew about my physical condition going in though, so that was as expected. I think I did above expectation with the orienteering though, with hardly any mistakes on some very technical courses. Very happy with the weekend.

Orienteering race 2:39:07 [3] 10.0 mi (15:55 / mi)

Course way too long for me (13.1km straight-line and 600m climb), but pretty solid orienteering wise. I think I did all the correct route choices, and I spiked all of the controls. Developed a blister around control 14 and too tired at the end made for a lot of walking to 18, 19 and 21 (lot of climb or rough terrain).

If I was in the shape I was last spring, I could probably do this course 20 minutes faster pretty easily.

Orienteering 15:00 [2] 0.5 mi (29:59 / mi)

Running around the model map get familiar with the area.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3] 1.0 mi (20:00 / mi)

Warming-up. Running and drills.

Orienteering race 53:47 [3] 4.0 mi (13:27 / mi)

Orienteered pretty well without any major mistakes. I did overshoot 6 hitting the cliff closer to the trail and then having to back track.
