Trail de la Rosière, 21 km
Could feel yesterday that starting on 1800 m over sea level, is something that I'm not used to and apparently can't deal with very well. But just decided to make the best out of it.
First climb (4km) was tough but felt reasonably good and I knew I was the leading woman. It went well, especially downhill, until the steepest climb I've ever run. Was trying my best just to keep a good pace but had to work so hard and not getting anywhere. Was overtaken by quite a few, including a woman. On the downhill I felt fine again and could catch them back up. On the long downhill trough the forest I got a bit of a gap to the woman I'd overtaken again and I thought this is my only chance to get up the last climb before her. Unfortunately that didn't quite go to plan since my legs just wouldn't run. After a few attempts I had to walk up the whole way and she passed me again. Finished 2nd, absolutely knackered
