From the cottage with Barrie and Josh, up Drum and then down the other side. Felt pretty good running up hill, steady downhill. Really enjoyed it despite the weather!

Very slow running in places, and made a few mistakes. It was a shame my course didn't go into that checker board section, but still thought it was an allright course and area

Jukola, 3rd leg: The long night!

It certainly was long.. nearly fell asleep when I was sat waiting for my sister to hand over to me, mum had to keep me awake. Really didn't feel like running at all! Felt a bit better as soon as I sat off, but not much fun when suddenly you're the annoyingly slow one that everyone wants to run past in the line of runners. Didn't really want to run by myself at any point so I kept clinging on to others, worked out ok most of the time except for the 17th control.. followed some Finnish guys that was shouting numbers in finnish, they seemed fast and to know where they were going.. but no. Everyone was lost, like proper lost and I think I lost about 10-15 minutes just running around looking for something to relocate off. So tired and sick of running and orienteering in the end!

Venla, last leg

A few mess ups and lost quite a few places, especially in the beginning. Far from perfect but it still didn't feel like it went that bad.. I got caught by a few faster runners in the beginning, but got in a pack after a bit. Didn't read the map enough and got a bit lost when we split up.
Felt ok still, a shame we lost so many places

Really nice area, had a good run. One little mistake to no.7 and one in the end to no.17. probably could've run a bit harder but the orienteering felt really good

Sprint
A bit long for a sprint and not too tricky but i felt pretty good and enjoyed it. Didn't really make any mistakes, a bit hesitant in some places, especially in the woods

Long distance, really tough. Legs felt good, just had some trouble running hard in places because of the heather and stony ground. Made a mistake to no. 1 and 7. Other than that just smaller misses
