pretty short warm up , jogged round the string course , then did about a min's light static stretching and then ran . distance may be wrong as i forgot to reset my Garmin between running and warming up .

BOK district event at rocks east . blue course (5.6km 300m )
a really hilly area , quite a lot of controls , lots of undergrowth .
started badly , a bit low on 2 and got a little confused by where abouts on the map 3 was supposed to be, no more than 40 secs lost on these though , after that my navigation was fine , a bit slow on a few of the hills , some it was impossible to run up , caught Phil Murray at 16 , stayed just ahead of him till 18 and then i dropped him by taking a better route choice to 19 , horrific hill up to the finish. pleased with my result however , 2nd to Tim by only 3 seconds , over a minute ahead of Clive and 2.5 mins ahead of Ben :D i think my navigation is definetly better than it was last year :)

jogging and stretching , a bit of rolling when i got home to :) toe has swollen up a bit due to the rough terrain , but its not restricting :)
