Middle chase. Thomas and I started together, but were too sloppy. Caught by Brian who had a solid race. Legs weren't quite there today.

Sage Stomp Long. I wasn't too optimistic going into this after relatively few races in 'alpine' terrain, but things went well and I had a lot of fun. 5' of avoidable mistakes (concentration), maybe another 1 for a perfect run. My good splits were really good, so I just need to concentrate better to get ride of bigger ones. Ran hard and had fun.

(something like that) - Louise, then Sarah for the women I think.

Can't wait for tomorrow - sprint and middle (60') chase start.

Ran out to Edworthy for some O-tervals. Ran an old course hard 3 controls at a time. Legs still a bit tired, but it was a big day and still only 4 days since the weekend. Pretty hot out too.

Strength/Core 5:00 [1]

Orienteering 1:20:00 [1] 8.0 km (10:00 / km)

Nose Hill. Hanging controls, following juniors. A few really impressive runners there. The best part was the veggy-O. Neat area mapped really well. Tired legs.

Tuesday May 16, 2006 #

Run 1:00:00 [1] 10.0 km (6:00 / km)

Run 15:00 [5] 4.5 km (3:20 / km)

30/60/90/120+1off x 4. After lactic acidy legs the last few days, today they felt pretty good. Started hard but just died at the end. Still, faster recovery than the last few weekend's races!

Last run with the boys for a while. Finished off the night with a nice quasi-surprise din at the Snooty. Thanks Hans.
