Felt great warming up, much better than yesterday. Focussed on being smooth and pushing the whole way. Went up through the yellow on #2 (-10''). Ran straight for a person who looked like they were coming out of the control to #4, but were making a mistake (-5'''). Otherwise, a solid run.

Orienteering 51:00 [4] 6.8 km (7:30 / km)

Took this a step below killer-race-pace. Not intentionally, but felt a bit tired and less motivated. The goal was a no mistake race. Things fell apart to #7 where I never found the trail...very strange. I made too many route choices through valleys where ridges would have been better after looking over the courses with Hammer. Flowed well though and concentration was generally good. Fun times cheering GHO to the win by Hammer, Sudden, Bash and Griz.

Started out carefully to get into the terrain and spiked most controls. A couple bad moments where I lost concentration, but otherwise good. Felt sluggish after the drive. An excellent start to the weekend from the GHO crew and our winner, Coach Sudden!

17th Fairway with Hammer, Fossil, FrankenJack. 12x2' + 4FS. Legs felt heavy, so hard work tonight. But that doesn't matter, it's the last week of base training and they'll recover for the weekend.

AM: Beautiful morning run. Cootes and RBG trails with Hammer. Nice leisurely jog watching some ATB and the first runners up Heart-break hill.
