Bought a new vehicle. We were considering one in the next few years then discovered that they don't make the Honda Element, the one that we really like, anymore. This year's was the last model.
What!!!
So fast and furious phone calls revealed no new car, no used cars at dealers across Florida, Mississipi, Tennessee, the Carolinas, Georgia and Alabama. Well, there was a 2008 at Alabama but at almost the price of a new car.
Bummer.
The dealer in Georgia suggested a Toyota scion. I had no clue what that was, so popped into the Toyota dealer to have a look.
Told the guy what we were looking for. He said "lets go look at our used lot".
There she was. A 2011 with 8,000 miles on her. To boot, it's the "dog friendly" version
a cushioned pet bed in the cargo area with an elevated platform;
second row and cargo area pet restraint systems;
an extendable cargo area load-in ramp;
a 12V DC rear ventilation fan;
second-row seat covers with a dog pattern design (matches the bed fabric);
all-season rubber floor mats with a toy bone pattern;
a spill-resistant water bowl; and
Dog Friendly exterior emblems.
Now we just need a dog.
What we bought it for is no carpet, and the back seats do this...
That ramp is going to make a great mtb ramp.
