shoes: Ballet Slippers

Um, this was really hard!!!! I signed up for a free 30 days of OpenFit, where you can do online workouts, to try this Barre nonsense everyone seems to be doing.

Xtend Barre with Andrea Rogers -it's really ballet but with repetitive pulsing movement, added hand weights and using the back of a chair instead of barre. The core stuff on the mat at the end was agonizing! It was also REALLY FUN! The lady is a tiny dancing Pilates robot who is incredibly cheerful and in insane shape. You're supposed to do one 30 minute workout for 30 days. We'll see about that.

Rutgers Rootstocks. Really messed up 1 and 2, then finally was able to get in contact with the map and slowed down and enjoyed the day.

Test running (well mostly walking and checking map vs reality) a course by Sandy on a new map of FDR Park, right in my neighborhood! This was so exciting for me, to go to a park where I normally walk or jog or take the dog, and to have a map in my hand! Really made me feel like I belong here! Thank you so much for including me Sandy. Great job. Can’t wait for world orienteering day (May 15th, the date of the sprint) , and the cool orienteering exhibit they’re going to do here at the American Swedish history Museum. Should be a great opportunity to cross promote and maybe get some new DVOA members.
