Trail Run 1:01:24 [3] 6.09 mi (10:05 / mi) +241ft 9:43 / mi
shoes: Hoka One Challenger ATR 4

Exploring Pennypack Trail and the Pennypack Wildlife area right after classes nearby...surfaces ranged from road to nice packed gravel trails to bush-wacking through shorn and stubbly meadows. Neat! Saw 2 foxes, a bunch of deer, and a lone hawk. I had only intended to do 3-4 today, but the woods were unexpectedly beautiful and somehow...I had energy! Maybe it was that egg sandwich for breakfast. Also I stopped briefly to look at various nice things.

Sometime I want to do the whole 14.4 mile Pennypack Trail. Actually it could be cool - Brian could drop me off and then meet meet me at Sweet Lucy's Smokehouse, which has great beer and amazing BBQ. http://www.sweetlucys.com/

Down around FDR park and back. Felt a bit sluggish and the wind seemed to come from every direction.
