Note
I'm always trying to find the right balance of types of exercise for my current physical condition.
My back has been pretty good lately, nothing to complain about since December. My main cardio has been run/walk on streets - never running more than 3 miles in a row but including longer hikes and run/walks where I am at times going faster. In the winter I did do treadmill a bit, but again never more than 3 miles in a row. And finally, the yoga. This is the first time in my life I have consistently gone to yoga class, and I'm really feeling the benefits. (Always do my own type of yoga, but being in class you learn so much and go much longer than you do at home.) And now of course the O season has started, and before I go all crazy and get too excited I want to remind myself of what has been working for me, and to stick with it.
I think this could be a good recipe:
Run/walks - 2x week
Yoga - 2x week class, 1x week at home (or more?)
O - 1x week
Maybe this, and not doing anything crazy with my life for a little while, will be the recipe for success. :)
