Forgot to turn watch on for the first 3 minutes or so (but fixed time and km here.)

Nice uphill walk to start, got me warmed up. #1 - was my big mistake. Bearing was off and I kept climbing, clue was vegetation boundary but there really was no marked change in vegetation that I could see so I veered towards the wrong area. Got back on track ok.

Other mistakes or hesitations throughout course but nothing terrible. Some nice white woods but some areas were very rocky so I had to go pretty slow.
I tried to work on really segmenting legs so that I was navigating to features along the way and that worked pretty well.

In general, felt very tired but did try to push myself to go a little faster than last week. There was a lot of trail running at the end. Everyone was complimenting Sam on his courses, and this was his first time, so that's good!

I got chauffeured to the event which was a nice change. Thanks bro!

Pushed myself today. I think I'm faster and healthier (to my back) when I mix jogging and walking. I jog faster when I'm jogging, and then the walking gives the bouncing a break. Mind you, I am walking pretty fast.

Didn't look at watch much, and that seems healthier too.
