Back Stretches 40:00 [3]

Saturday Jan 4, 2014 #

Back Stretches 35:00 [3]

added a few more reps.

Note

went to gym to do something short and pathetic, but it was closed. but, not all for naught, because i intercepted a lost dog - cute black pit mix named Toby - and found his owners via phone # on tag. waiting in the cold for them was not great, but Toby was a great dog and i enjoyed meeting him. interesting, Toby was not too thrilled to see his Dad, and only managed a lukewarm tail wag. maybe he was feeling guilty for running off?

Yoga 10:00 [3]

just a test...

Definitely not doing the FT Washington thing tomorrow, leg hurts and I still have a cold. But I'm psyched to do it later this month when I am completely healed! :)))

Note

300 hrs for the year, just under 3 short of matching 2012, which is good considering I added a full time job to this year's mix, as well as the fact that I've been injured for a while.

ALSO - MAJOR BUMMER - Winter Issue Of Briar Patch has been swallowed by Microsoft word and I have to start over. All text from all text boxes disappeared, but layout and photos remain. Did not back up document, like an idiot. I will have to rewrite the articles I wrote, and re-edit and format everything else that everyone sent me. I have consulted with various experts and come to the conclusion that the material is irretrievable, and the problem inexplicable. So, here's to gathering the motivation to do it over, it was one page of formatting away from being complete, and I would have been sending it to the printer's today.

This awful thing was the cap-off to 2013, a year with some wonderful highs, and some not-so-great lows. I am determined to not let it get me down, and will plunge headlong into what I hope will turn out to be a GREAT year. I have resolved to spend more time working on improving my brain function. :)

Dance Party 10:00 [3]

I was not as enthusiastic as young Robin who has mastered spinning around and around without falling. She and June also demonstrated how they can go backwards. Perhaps a moon walk is in the near future!

Then a lovely dinner followed by a poker match where we were all schooled by the master, Juliet. I definitely need a rematch soon!

And, who knew how much fun a remote controlled helicopter could be! Thanks for the lovely evening, hughmac4 and jkoczak.

Walk/Jog 29:17 intensity: (19 @0) + (9:42 @1) + (16:57 @2) + (2:01 @3) + (5 @4) + (13 @5) 2.08 mi (14:05 / mi) +256ft 12:37 / mi
ahr:135 max:178 shoes: Brooks Glycerin

Second half of hughmac3's loop, with him trying to maintain a heart rate of 115 or so. Interestingly, my HR was consistently much higher than his, maybe it's because I'm sick, out of shape, and part bunny or something. "Sprinted" at the very end.
