Hiking with light pack through sections of rocks, mountain laurel, and neat stands of mature rhododendron. light dusting of snow. mostly slow going but jogged a little at the end. very wet feet but really great day!

TNT Penn Crest HS track - mostly jogging, some walking/some 'sprinting' with Dasha, Sandy F and Sandy A - who all waited in plank position while i did one more lap to reach 5 miles!

Then deliciously decadent dinner w Tom O, Clem, Karl, and us 4 ladies. Tom made an excellent curry dish whose name I can't pronounce, Clem got fancy pizzas, and magically the rest of us brought items that perfectly harmonized.

Happy birthday Dasha! Hope your birthday wishes come true. (What did you wish for??)
