Finally got a map of Horn Pond woods. well it's a little old - 1992 NEOC - but most of the main paths look the same in the section i explored tonight with Larry, and i went to a new area i'd never had the confidence to explore before. that's what having a map does for me.

but Larry is getting old, i'm sorry to say. he actually may have torn or sprained something tonight chasing a squirrel, and had to hobble back out of the woods pretty slowly. thank god i didn't have to carry him. i feel so bad that i pushed him to do it because i needed the exercise. hopefully he'll spring back in the morning.
