i was so excited to go back to pine hill today and do some more map exploration but it is raining..and not lightly either. weather looks bad today and tomorrow, and then it gets cold. is it worse to be wet or cold?

amazingly, on a day where i was just intending on using a crude map to do some trail walking, i came across a group of orienteers from NEOC and CSU on a training run. they were kind enough to give me 2 green maps and i attempted a short green course but didn't get all the controls (well there were no controls, but you know what i mean.) still learning to read the map and pace, etc. thanks everyone for your encouragement.

10 minutes on elliptical; various machines working upper body and legs; abs and stretches; 10 more mintues on elliptical.

Elliptical machine...wasn't paying attention to distance. These machines make me a little dizzy when I get off of them.
