Haven't had a good run for a whole week! This felt horrible at first, and then because I had super peppy company (@hughmac4) it got better and better. It's interesting how much time/energy you spend adjusting clothing in the cold temps. And I LOVE my new shoes, a gift from my husband! Thanks for suggesting them, bro, and for the encouragement to get out into the chilly temps.

Lots of snowy New England walks over the last few days with Lucy the dog and Brian, but nothing I could log. Hour long hike through Mt Auburn Cemetery today with one of Brian's chums. A bit nippy!!

Arrived in Cape Ann, MA, right on the ocean. The lovely snow has turned to freezing rain. Feel very tired after driving hunched over squinting out at the dark slippery roads. ZZZZZZ. Too bad it looks like rain tomorrow, I guess more of a yoga day. Hoping for some running sometime during this trip!

I took my Chariot for a run. My Self went along for the ride, observing from a quiet distance within. Occasionally the Horses wanted things I did not and had to be reined in. All in all, we had a fine time!

Got my Garmin all hooked back up after losing the power cord! This is the fastest I've run in a long time. Flat streets seemed easier after the fields on Sunday...still feel pretty out of shape. Gonna work on this.

Home practice. Tried some new things inspired by our trip to see a dance performance last night. The human body is incredible--tapping into the joy of movement just like a kid feels so great! Also managed to tire myself out and get rid of a bad mood.
