Wissahickon: you guys who hike/run here regularly must be in great shape, because this was hard work!

Took a pic of trail map sign at beginning and was stopping and making sure I knew the way - now I have a nice 5 mile loop to come back to! Gotta add some climb back into my life.

What an amazing day to be alive.

Note

Finger laceration with floral pruners resulting in trip to ER on Sunday. Pain has worsened while in reclining position to the point of me wondering if there is something going wrong with healing process or this is just what happens with a fairly deep wound. Took a chunk the size of about half a small jelly bean out. Here it is 2am and I'm wide awake sitting up in bed. Want to change bandage to look but they said wait 48 hrs...that would be 3pm Tuesday. Wah. BP in ER was 150/87...never been that high before, stress from the trauma I guess.

Changed bandage early,,,mostly. could not remove gauze stuck to Surgicel (anti clotting material.) Put new gauze and wrap over that. Finger is still under there, pain continues.
