Orienteering race 17:07 [3] 2.4 km (7:08 / km)

QBIII - Day 1 at Chevalier College
Took me forever to find start to control 1 by which time I started a less optimal route choice. Took a crap bearing to 4 and ended up about 100m west of control. Lost about 1:30 mins ... did ok through the technical building stuff except from 7 to 8 where I missed the steps to go downstairs and ended up going the long way. All up happy with run with plenty of room for improvement.

Orienteering race 1:11:00 [3] 8.0 km (8:53 / km)

Jim Sawkins Memorial Event at Kowen East
The wet weather made it very tempting to stay at home in a warm, cozy bed. However, Olle had his trials and we are tough cookies! By the time we started it had stopped raining and it was rather pleasant. Although not technical, I managed to make some stupid mistakes - not sure why my brain power was not switched on. Lost about 9 mins all up on sloppy navigation, distracted by others and more sloppy nav ...
