Ben Lomond Hill race; 5th, pretty poor race...tired legs after Dumyat and lacking a bit of hill fitness. Began with Kenny but purposefully dropped back as was suffering. Achillies burned once again on the steep climbs and was forced to walk..dropped back to 14th! Ran well on the flatter sections. Descent was good but again lacking speed endurance, took five people

Normal pre-race run on the seat...legs are a bit messed up after Dumyat but should get into the race tomorrow ok. Hip flexors need to be rolled but all good apart from that

Dumyat Hill Race. 7th, not bad for first race back, though still not in good enough shape. Ran well on the climbs, went through a bad patch coming out of the woods and relied too heavily on downhill speed which wasn't great. Still need to work on steep stuff.

Arthurs Seat Handicap route...wanted to do something fast but not overdo it before Dumyat so ended up somewhere in the middle. Didn't therefore mentally have much on the climbs but was running well. Annoyingly shin has flared up again but seeing Casey on monday
