Orienteer (long) 2:17:59 [4] ***** 8.7 km (15:52 / km) +305m 13:30 / km
shoes: ORoc 12

Oooffff. This was a physical slog; if not over rocks then through blueberry bushes. Found the course quite good and I enjoyed the navigational challenge. Did miss a few to varying degrees and sure would like to know what I did on 5; must have walked right by it initially.
The weekend reaffirmed my confidence in my navigation. Just need to put the whole package back together.

Orienteer (middle) 52:57 [5] ***** 3.8 km (13:56 / km) +165m 11:27 / km
shoes: ORoc 12

West Point middle course - Red
Always enjoyably challenged by Harriman / WP terrain and this was no different. Stayed in good touch with map. Although there were some areas of inconsistent mapping, this did not affect me as much as my own doings. My three main misses were 8, 9 & 10 and all for different reasons. 14 seemed like some serious map screwiness and I will know when I get my quickroute together. More then.
A very enjoyable race. So glad I went. Love it.

Orienteer (sprint) 19:15 [5] *** 2.2 km (8:45 / km) +73m 7:30 / km
shoes: ORoc 12

West Point Sprint - Red
Everyone seemed to go left to 1 but I looked quickly and right was better but bobbled ending and gave up any advantage. Will leave detail analysis for later, if ever. Generally missed more than I ought and was quite pooped-out for the later half. Blah.

Bike (road) 1:30:00 [3] 20.0 mi (4:30 / mi)

Morning was warm & sunny so I expected warmer & sunnier for the afternoon and didn't look at weather. Was colder, windier & rainier and my mindset was inexplicably crappy, like the weather.
