A590 to Arad Foot - over to Penny Bridge, Tottlebank, Spark Bridge, Lowick. Stopped to watch Windemere Traithlon bikers at x-roads. Then up to Gawthwaite turn, across to Broughton Beck & back to Ulverston.

Askham Fell BL Local event.
Because of sore ribs dropped to Green. Took first 5 controls very steady and then when turned for home started to run a bit harder.
Managed to fall once on way to #8 but didn't feel too bad so continued quite hard.
Lovely sunny day & so good to be out with a map.

Set off as if going to do Coniston round but at Hawkswell felt left rib cage not too good so turned and climbed Gawthwaite. Then along and up Osmertherley Moor - stopped at top for bar at about an hour. Dropped down to Marton & around to Lindal. On fast descent obligatory woman in middle of lane with dog on long lead running from hedge to hedge :o(.
Then Candle Factory, Little & Great Urswick, Birkrigg, bardsea & coast road back. Another sunny autumn day without any great heat.

Coast road to Roa, Roosecote, Old Holbeck, Stank, Newton, edge of Dalton, Stainton, Holme Bank, Birkrigg. Sunny day. Saw first skien of geece heading south. Left side of rib cage still sore.

Around 30 lengths - lost count - 750m.

Junior training Ford Park with Amelia, Becca, Gilly, Peter & Dylan.

Soutergate, Broughton Beck, Hawkswell, Osmotherly Moor, Marton, Lindal, Stainton, Gleaston, Scales, Birkrigg, Oxleys (wasp sting) & coast road from Manjushri. Nice sunny day again.
