Barrow Park run - nearly overcooked it on 2nd lap and really struggled through hills on 3rd lap.

Ulverston Pool - 25m - 30 lengths - 750m. Busy pool - feeling shit.

Orienteering race 48:14 [4] 3.2 km (15:04 / km) +185m 11:42 / km

L5D Day5 - Dale Park.
Very wet on the drive in so parked at Blind Lane and walked last part.
Set off steady and spiked #1, long uphill drag to #2 exposed my lack of uphill running again. Next few ok. Realised I was off line coming out of #5 and corrected below some crags. Then convinced myself that I was somewhere else and went walkabout for a few minutes. Then relocated above the corner of the start field.
Slow to next control trying to get remotivated and focused ok to spike the rest. Surprised to be 6th of 39 at download given the stupidity towards #6, although probably "only" wasted 3 minutes.
Ended up as 10th of nearly 70. #3 & #6 caused carnage.

Fixed front tyre puncture so out for a ride. Usual route around Birkrigg, Scales, Gleaston, Dendron etc. Short detour to start as Birkrigg road closed by garage for resurfacing.

L5D Day 2. 6.0km. Better weather - really fast underfoot. No real navigational errors just a slog over second half of course. Caught by Ian Ditchfiled at #9 and then John Dowty at #10. Ran away from Ian with John during last 4 controls.
