shoes: Hoka Speedgoat 2

WMOC Sprint Final B - 30th of 80. Started and around first corner found a hedge with path either side. South path empty, North path has mum with baby in buggy and holding hands with youngster who was screaming her head off. Immediately took the South path and after half a dozen strides checked the map again - cannot get through hedge!

Sprint Qualifier - steady away - 2 mistakes - 50 secs when overran whilst planning ahead - 30 secs when stupidly followed chap into dead end.
24th of 60 in heat 4 - should make the B final.

Kirkby Moor loop. Shorts only due to heat. Some faffing with seeds in socks, and then having to retie shoelaces before final climb disrupted rhythm. But less jogging and felt like a runner in large parts - heather corner not as desperate as sometimes.

From Hollins Lane, Burneside. Down to river and north along Dales Way past Bowston & Cowan Head to Hagg Foot.
Return along the same route. Through fields out & back I was trying to effort with better form and stride length.
