Walk up Tilberthwaite to start at Yewdale.
11 AM

Orienteering 46:38 [4] 4.4 km (10:36 / km) +125m 9:17 / km

Yewdale Galoppen - Green Course.
Decided to run Green as not feeling too good and wanted to try and run as much as possible. Happy with routes to #1 & #2. Decided to contour around to #3 rather than drop and take the more direct route along the marshes with final climb up the spur. Not sure whether that was good or bad. Slog up to #4 and then start of downhill legs.
Schoolboy error exiting #6 following Tim Field without checking my compass and he was 75deg too far east. Took 20 secs to faff and relocate before finishing the banana - probably a minute lost. Better between there and the finish although legs feeling very tired by the end.

Steady loop down Fish House Lane beside the Leven, then across to the causeway and cut back in to Haverthwaite. Warm day and nice just turning the legs over watching the martins and dragonflies.

stationary lunge(10 each leg), kayak(20), plank(1min), rear lunge(10 each leg), squats(20), side plank(45secs each arm), forward single leg swivel(5 each leg), band exercises (8x10secs v-sits, 8x10secs knee raise, 8x10sec leg extend), split squats(20 each leg), scorpions(5 each side), forward lunge(10 each leg), deltoid raise(20), squats(20)

Out along coast road through Baycliff, cut into Scales back via Gleaston & Urswicks.
Going quite hard, feeling tired at the end.

SEE - Cunswick Scar. Quite a warm evening and nice to see plenty of people out.Was running ok on the first loop up to about 40 minutes. Very slow after that and somebody disconnected my battery at 60 minutes when I shuffled to the finish.

Out on Kirby Moor with Rachel - reverse loop & slightly longer than Saturday. Felt absolute rubbish at the start but once we were into it then there was much less walking.

Out with Rachel up and down the lane. Trying to hold good form for 30secs with about 20secs recovery. Once I had warmed up and Rachel had slowed slightly it felt good.

Extra loop by myself - finished with two 90second efforts, 30 seconds between.
