Orienteering race 39:53 [4] 3.3 km (12:05 / km)

O-Festivalen Middle race. In control for all but pen-ultimate control where I stopped short in green looking for a knoll. Orienteered pretty well but through the terrain still slow.

Orienteering race 1:20:14 [5] 5.6 km (14:20 / km)

O-Festivalen Long race. Brutal. Day became very warm and tough running underfoot. Managed to navigate #1 & #2 ok then a 3 minute miss at #3 through rushing. Ok around top loop then 2km+ leg to #7 was epic. Bad miss at #9 after an hour out and really slow through the terrain - maybe 6 minutes gone. Both errors caused by bad compass.
Stumbled in to finish.
Very dehydrated at the end.

Jogging around Boredalen map SW of hutte that I haven't explored before. Nice ridge section but really struggled to make contours fit at one point. On my return to hutte realised I was using 2001 map and 2007 version had different contour interpretation!

O-Festivalen Sprint race. I didn't manage to go very fast and only made a couple of small errors but still near the bottom of the pack.

Jogged around the M14/W16 course from 2014 NWJS Tour Champs.
Decided to go direct to #4 without looking at my compass enough and had to relocate someway off.

Kirby Moor loop - overcast warm day - little breeze. Ground wet after Sunday rain.

Over OutPark then good climb onto windmills at Brunt Riggs. Felt comfortable along Gunson Height onto Shooting House Hill then drop and climb into the red zone back to car trying to beat the hour.

Legs felt ok when finished.

16th April ran loop in 1hr 5min 28sec.
10th May in 1hr 3min 32sec - ahr 142.
24th May in 1hr 3min 43sec - ahr 137.
