Soutergate, , , Penny Bridge, Spark Bridge, Lowick, , Broughton Beck.
Not quite an easy ride due to so many hills but enjoyable in the sun with Rachel.

Protecting sore throat.

Woke up with "hot" throat again so abandoned plans to go out with Selwyn.
Bumbled around Austin Fell and Thwaite Head tagging control sites. Heard my first cookoo and put up many red deer hinds.

Easy ride with Rachel around Pennington, Loppergarth, Marton, Lindale, Dalton, Urswicks. Coolish day.

Orienteering 1:07:44 [3]

Warrior Battleaxe #3 - Mickleden, Langdale.
Started very slowly to see if any problems with throat or groin. Both held up well. Was going ok until towards the end of the valley where the map was incomplete and managed to contour too high off the map. Then missed the next as it was hidden under a large boulder. Two 5 min errors spoiled a steady run.
Right groin not too bad, throat still "hot" afterwards.

2br; 10cr(pb) + 10cr + 10cr(pb) + 10cr + 10cr(pb); 2br - 1300m. Pool quiet.

Run 20:00 [2]

Easy run from Bardsea with Alex along coast to Baycliff and up small road to coast road. Alex then had problems with his calves so walked up Sunbrick Lane - ran Green Lane to Sunbrick - walked across Birkrigg to his house. Out for 50 mins.
