Orienteering race 1:09:23 [4] 6.7 km (10:21 / km) +200m 9:01 / km

Cumbrian Galoppen - Muncaster Fell - Blue. Very warm day - running in shorts.
First two clean, missed middle crossing point on way to #3 which threw me off line. Probably needed to be more direct line to #4 and not run around the contour. 5,6,7,8 straight slog following others. Decided to be different to #9 and climbed out of control before using flatter ground, but again found tussocks & bilberry.
Slog around last loop when tired and dehydrated - hanging on.

Easy pootle with Rachel around Birkrigg to Sunbrick, green lane to road and back to car. Sunny day.

First swim for a while. Sore shoulders after set 4 so stopped early.
2br; 4 x (4cr(pb) + 6cr); 2br - 1050m. Pool busy.

Orienteering 1:15:00 [3]

Oring at Force Falls - nice sunny evening. Decided to collect all of the controls so set off up through the shit to start and cleaned up around the bottom before heading for the green. Missed two of 3 controls badly through not checking descriptions, and then not focussed when tired and messed up another near the end.

Old Gits from Gummers How. Managed to lose several by them taking wrong line off the top and never making it into Blakeholme. Nice loop around until split point.

Met up with Tony Richardson and walked back in with him.

Hoad Hill Running group with Rachel. Easy around Birkrigg from X-roads to Sunbrick, down lane to Baycliff, back along beach past Sea Wood and back through Bardsea Green lanes onto flanks of Birkrigg. Easy apart from climb out of Bardsea.
