Orienteering race 40:00 [4]

British Relay Champs - M50 2nd leg between Simon Filmore & Selwyn Wright. Tired after being on duty with UVHS in Tomlinsons Bunkhouse. Had a reasonably clean run around without feeling very strong.

Orienteering race 1:47:00 [4] 7.8 km (13:43 / km) +300m 11:30 / km

British Champs M55L - Thrunton & Callally. Brutal! Stumbling around the whole course due to the height of the bilberry & heather ground cover.

Orienteering race 50:00 [4]

Bishop Woods - Macmillan Relay - 3 loops. Going well around first two loops with one small miss. Then slipped over on 3rd loop, then misread a form line contour as a ride and "explored" the wrong re-entrant in the low-vis green. Rainy evening so struggling seeing the map.

Kirkby Moor - warm day. Set out towards Shooting House Hill and managed to keep max hr < 160. Along Gunson Height feeling comfortable and enjoying t-shirt and shorts and the views and skylarks. Around wind farm and took off t-shirt as getting really warm and hr up to 165 on the climb. Steady up Out Park, still working at the top where i managed to hit 170 hr. Last small climb pushed hr back to 168.

Turning the legs over run - shuffle down to the Ropewalk, back through to the Leisure Centre, up Croftlands hill and back down big dipper. Warm afternoon, legs barely woke up.
