Orienteering 20:00 [1] 1.0 mi (20:00 / mi)

Delamere Trophy event - decided calf was too sore to race, so picked up Blue map and jogged out to a control 2/3rds around and watched kids come through. Wet, drizzly, cold, dank day and many of the kids under-dressed and cold. Watched some interesting mistakes unfold :-).

Caught a break in the weather to have a very easy jog around Kirkby Moor. Left calf still very stiff and sore - more massage needed.

Left calf very sore after Po House road race, so hopped onto the bike for a steady ride around standard loop in the sunshine. Headwind over Birkrigg and down towards Scales and Gleaston but eased around Dendron and way back in.

BCR Winter League - Po House. Very wet and windy start to 2014. Started steady and never seemed to find a good rythm. Undulating all of the way - impressive climb behind Po House.

Windy, wet, blustery day. Decided to run out to Bay Horse via ropewalk and back in along canal. Canal section into a head/cross wind, and attempt at some efforts was poor - low energy & enthusiasm.
