Jog past UVHS & big dipper to Croftlands and back to top of Watery Lane.
Huge cloudburst as I approached start so sheltered under tree.

Run tempo 14:45 [4] 1.85 mi (7:58 / mi)
ahr:155 max:165

Loop via Ropewalk to Glaxo and back along Lonsdale Road to Railway Bridge. Tail end of cloudburst at start, wet again towards end, although I was soaked before I started. Given max heart rate is 220 - 54 = 166 then hr high although I felt controlled trying to protect calves and right foot and could have pushed harder if legs had felt better.

Jog back. HR seemed to settle around 120 - 125. Dropped to 70-75 whilst typing it up.

Got time of session wrong so they gave me extra 15mins. Little rest!

Out on Trek Madone. Very different ride, front forks not giving much stability or confidence.
Chain clicking - need some adjustments. Usual loop via Birkrigg, Gleaston, Dendron & back.

Back in via Cartmel, Cark, Holker, Haverthwaite & A590. Headwind the whole way and very sore hamstrings.

Out from Brinkworth with Howard & Grev. Loop through some pretty sodden footpaths very slow.
Then 2 x 1min efforts up a slope with 5min rest. Easy jog back home.
How the mighty have fallen :¬).
