Midland Champs - Foxley & Garnston. Steep bramble-fest - legs sore after yesterdays epic urban race. Clear blue sky - warm day - felt I was running pretty slowly but other people as bad.
Appear to have finished 9th of 32 in M50L !?
Very tired at end of weeekend - 3.5 hours drive down - 4 hours drive back.
Will won M16, Angus 8th. Florrie did well to get around. Top weekend.

Run 50:00 [3]

Picked up Andrew, Daisy & Ben Nicholl - Florrie missing. Daisy complained of small pain in chest but wanted to run so very steady away from Sunbrick and down towards Scales. Away from Scales Andrew put in a bit of a surge and pain increased for Daisy so stopped and walked next three fields and down to coast road. Dropped into Baycliff and left Daisy on Green with extra clothes. Ben, Andrew and myself ran cart track back to Sunbrick - Ben very strong towards the top. Drove around to pick up Daisy and home.

Easy jog around Sunbrick, Scales & Baycliff using green lanes.
Took a pair of secateurs to clear the large trailing briars.
