Note

Storm Christoph arrived overnight. Tried driving towards Dalton but roads flooded & had to turn back twice. Ended abandoning the car on the edge of Croftlands and running out towards Birkrigg.

Croftlands, The Nook Farm, Middle Mount Barrow, Far Mount Barrow & green lane to edge of Birkrigg. Footpaths turned into small streams & unfortunately the verges full of dog shit. Mainly uphill.
